Known Minor Issue: Lync Server 2013 RTM PowerShell help still references “Lync 2013 Preview”

Minor issue, but thought I’d blog it in case anyone hit it and got confused.  The help that shipped with the RTM Lync Server 2013 bits still mentions “Lync 2013 Preview”.

Example:

This was simply to do with the help meeting check-in time for the build and testing. It should not affect actual product.

The online TechNet version is already updated, but the offline version probably won’t be updated until a CU. It doesn’t appear to be using the new online updatable help.

If like a lot of us you have the preview ISO/preview VM’s knocking around and want to be sure, you can use Get-CSServerVersion

There are also plenty of visual queues to easily see which version you are using:

Clear sign of pushed releases cycles at MS. Wonder what bigger mistakes are left in the code as well.
